VACUUMSCHMELZE develops, produces and markets magnetic speciality materials. VACCUMSCHMELZE has approximately 4,300 employees worldwide and was founded in 1923, but the beginnings of the company go back to 1914. For the 90th anniversary, we let the corks pop to celebrate with the entire workforce in Hanau.
Task
90 years VAC. An anniversary to be properly celebrated with a big party for employees, their families and special guests. It was a matter of impressing more than 2,000 visitors of all ages at the event in equal measure.
Solution
Our event concept fulfilled all wishes. It kicked-off with an official ceremony with speeches by the management followed by the works council and the Mayor of Hanau opening the festivities along with a VAC factory choir and orchestra performance created especially for the event. The staff supported the varied stage program, Tae-Kwan-Do and Square dance performances provided for good entertainment. Multiple exhibits highlighted the 90-year history of the VAC in both imagery and writing. Even the younger guests enjoyed complimentary face painting and crafts. A raffle and wide variety of food and beverages made for thorough enjoyment throughout the sunny day.
From start to finish, we planned the anniversary celebration together with our event partner agency. We were the central point of contact throughout the entire process and organised the details including the event motto, communication measures, exhibition concept, catering, programs, photo shoots and much more.
